You must have worked with pets in some capacity, and have experience in teaching and/or public speaking. Training in human First Aid is also an asset.
Application process.
Completing an application involves answering numerous questions to determine if there is a good match. We also conduct a phone interview and reference checks.

I love being a Walks 'N' Wags instructor. I've been doing this since 2002. It's a great way to stay current about the latest trends and thinking in pet health care. Lisa is very professional, responsive, and open to feedback. She adapts the curriculum as new research is available, which is essential for this kind of program.

As a guardian for 2 Labrador retrievers I know what it feels like to handle the unexpected. It didn’t come naturally at first even with all my training dealing with emergencies as a Firefighter. Things are different for pets. I investigated many programs for Pet First Aid training till I decided Walks ‘N’ Wags provided the most comprehensive program. I know what it takes to handle emergencies with humans and it isn’t taught in a couple of hours. So I was impressed with the curriculum provided and thoroughness of the training for each participant attending. After instructing the Walks ‘N’ Wags program over the last 2 years I am extremely happy with the support system Lisa has provided my business. Her knowledge and encouragement have enabled me to market extensively and provide training for over 100 people within my community. Thanks Lisa for all your efforts, they are truly appreciated.
